Simon Timmins, Master Scuba Diver Trainer evolved SiDive as a means for students to learn to dive at reasonable prices with superior service.  I focus on matching my customers’ diving needs and compatibility with their personal schedule. I work independently of any diveshop and can therefore give the course at a very reasonable price. When necessary I use equipment, tanks and boats from various local sources. Students and divers can be transferred from Cebu to the divesites for a small fee.

SiDive guarantees prices of up to 20% less than any major resort in Cebu, and up to 70% less than some resorts.

My customers can completely outfit themselves for any type of dive with whatever they need from a wide variety of equipment.  Diving is not just restricted to courses. Most weekends I arrange dive trips to all the local hot dive spots with certified divers. The more on the boat the lower the cost.

The dive sites in Mactan are in very good order at the moment as the Marine sanctuaries and efforts of the local governments to stop destructive fishing methods are paying off. There are three marine sanctuaries within 30 minutes, Thresher sharks are often seen at Tinggo point, there is a great cave at Marigondon, a small aeroplane wreck at 20M off Tambuli beach and numerous other great dive sites. In fact, around Mactan alone there are about 30 good dive sites.
